Local scanning
DiskPal reads the disk, volume, or folder you choose on your Mac. It builds the storage map and category breakdown on the computer running the app.
No remote file analysis
DiskPal does not need to upload filenames, paths, or scan results to a remote service to explain your storage.
Permission boundaries
macOS protects sensitive locations. DiskPal shows an access check and explains when a folder is unavailable. You decide whether to select that folder or grant Full Disk Access.
You stay in control
Current DiskPal actions focus on inspection, Finder reveal, and path copying. The app does not silently delete files or pretend that a category color proves an item is safe to remove.
